... a word from the Director
Rev. Peter Grover, OMV
Welcome to the newly restored archdiocesan Eucharistic Shrine. We are very honored to have you visit our Lord in this beautiful and historic church dedicated to prayer and Eucharistic adoration. The mission of the church is to provide a welcoming and prayerful place for people to come to be with the Lord.
We want to achieve this in several ways. First, to offer adoration every afternoon and evening. We hope people can come in from the busy and fast pace metropolis to enjoy a moment of peace and reflection. The church has just been restored to preserve the original beauty which was designed to lift up one's spirit in prayer. The gothic architecture provides the prayerful atmosphere of a monastery.
We also wish to provide liturgical services such as the Mass and Liturgy of the hours. The brothers, priests and seminarians pray lauds, evening prayer and complain together each day in this church. You are always invited to join us.
We have an adoration society for those who regularly make visits. Each person in the society takes an hour or halve hour regularly each week. It is only in this way that we can guarantee the Eucharistic adoration. There a few benefits that come with our regular attendees. We offer a lounge area. There we provide, coffee, spiritual literature and rest rooms. Parking is available. for our regular quests. Not only a church but a place people will come to enjoy an afternoon or evening of recollection.
We also welcome groups for a day of prayer recollection. Spacious and
comfortable rooms are always available.
